Laborers / Lead Laborers / Truck Driver

Laborer Day and Night Shifts Available

The campus skilled labor's objective is to complete tasks assigned by their lead or foreman while maintaining safe work practices.

Overview

  • Performs various physical duties as assigned.

  • Maintain all safety standards.

  • Moves, secures, installs, builds, loads, or unloads materials.

  • Performs some specialized tasks which may require on-the-job training.

  • Effectively using heavy and light equipment, depending on the jobsite/assignment.

  • Moves items from place to place, according to direction from the site supervisor.

  • Moving tools, equipment, or other materials as directed in plans or by supervisor.

Qualifications/Skills

  • Clean and maintain equipment inside and outside.

  • Meet color, sizing, and finishing standards to MFS standards.

  • Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines.

  • Able to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers.

  • Meet production standards each day.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements

  • High school diploma (preferred)

  • Ability to safely operate various vehicles and equipment.

  • Previous experience, especially in particular industry preferred.

​Offsite Truck Driver Bozeman and Roundup Locations​

Experienced driver familiar with the operating requirements of the trucking industry.

The driver will be responsible for driving company trucks to deliver products to customers in a safe and timely manner. This position requires a dedicated driver who is comfortable with local routes and will return home daily. A valid commercial driver’s license, a clean driving record and the ability to handle heavy lifting are required.

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all applicable safety regulations and company policies.

  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.

  • Load and unload cargo in a safe and timely manner.

  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and other related activities.

  • Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers on the road.

  • Follow the designated route and adhere to the delivery time window.

Geologist/Pit Manager

At Montana Frontier Sandstone, LLC, we relate our success directly to the strength of our management team. To continue operating at our high standards, we are seeking a Geologist with quarry mapping background. This person should have experience in geological field work and management. The ideal candidate will be an expert communicator, bilingual with a strong ability to collaborate across a range of departments. The ability to operate a forklift and other equipment are a definite plus.

  • Ultimately, the Geologist should be a self-driven individual who is able to work independently and efficiently.

  • Objectives of role

  • Provide geological guidance and analyses for Montana Frontier Quarries

  • Management of multiple quarry locations - Ensure production schedules are met, safety and quality control.

  • Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing processes, establishing a highly motivational work environment, and implementing innovative changes for multiple quarry locations

  • Adhere to company standards for excellence and quality

  • Provide guidance and feedback to help other strengthen knowledge/skill areas

  • Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Geology or Earth Science related field

  • Strong decision making ability

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills

  • Proven ability to develop and achieve financial plans

  • Ability to motivate and lead employees, hold them accountable

  • Strong working knowledge of operational procedure

  • Ability to maintain inventory

  • Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Experience with Adobe CreativeCloud or other graphic design programs

  • Bilingual, ability to operate a forklift and other equipment a plus
